Computerresale.comTechTurn Product Sales can provide door-to-port shipping to virtually any location either within the US or internationally. It is the responsibility to pay for shipping costs, however we can provide shipping quotes that include all types of shipping alternatives. We ship in pallet, truckload, and container-load increments worldwide. Value-added services include passing along our shipping discounts to our customers and working with full-service carriers that help navigate customs departments and expedite document flow.

As part of our overall quality control we continue to make improvements to packing and shipping. Our goal is to protect the integrity of the products that we sell during the shipping process in an effort to minimize error, maximized the protection of the products and to expedite the time it takes for you to receive your order. To help ensure the highest degree of accuracy in picking orders, we photograph outgoing shipments, documenting the condition of merchandise as it leaves our warehouse docks. Moreover, we provide a detailed packing list and invoice to ensure that the order you placed matches with the one that was picked and shipped.

Lost or Damaged Shipments:

  • Buyer is responsible to inspect all shipments immediately upon arrival. Customer must verify the condition, number of units received and weight of the shipment.  If damage or loss is apparent upon delivery, do not accept the shipment until you make a notation of the damage on all copies of the carrier's pro bill and have the driver sign all copies to acknowledge the notation. Do not sign a clear receipt for damaged or missing cartons or there will be no basis for a claim. Ask the carrier to make a detailed inspection of the damage. File a claim with the carrier. Cooperate and follow up as necessary to secure final settlement.
  • Even if damages are acknowledged in writing by the driver, you must request an inspection by the carrier and retain the merchandise, carton, and package materials at the address to which shipment was made until the carrier authorizes movement. The carrier must provide you with an inspection report. In case of concealed damage, inspection must be requested within five (5) days of receipt of shipment.
  • Please immediately advise shipper and TechTurn of all damages or problems. File your claim with the carrier, enclosing copies of the bill of lading (signed by the driver) and inspection report as support. Keep all packing materials and boxes with the damaged product. Do not throw anything away. Although Newmarket will provide any assistance possible, we cannot be responsible for the actual filing of claims on the carrier or accept liability for non-collectable freight claims.

Damaged Goods: If shipment box shows obvious damage, open package before signing for the delivery. DO NOT REFUSE DELIVERY.  Retain all packaging for inspection. You must inspect and report any damage to the merchandise at the time of delivery. 

  • All items shipped are to be insured. 
  • If the Buyer is arranging the shipping, TechTurn is NOT responsible for shipping claims, the shipping company is!  This includes items lost or damaged in shipment.
  • Damage claims will be initiated only after receiving proof of damage (pictures of damaged item/s & an accounting of the actual damage, including serial numbers etc.)

The most common packing arrangements are as follows:

Desktops
   

Computers are packed between 34-60 systems per pallet depending on the chassis size.

(Desktop orders typically take up to one week to fill the order)

   
Laptops & Notebooks
   

Notebooks come securely packed in specially designed 5 slot boxes. 24" X 14" X 17" @ 49 lbs each

Single unit boxes are 16" X 13" X 6" and weigh 9 lbs each.

We can fit 18 boxes or 90 units of notebooks per pallet.

Approximate weight and dimensions per pallet. 48" X 44" X 60" ? Weighs 912 pounds including pallet

(Laptop orders typically take 2 days to fill the order)

   
Servers/Storage/Networking/Printers

We typically sell these commodities by putting out a bid list and letting you place an offer on these products. Bids usually close within 2 business days.

(It typically takes up to one week to fill these orders)

Monitors
   

15" monitors come packed 36/pallet

17" monitors come packed 24/pallet

19" monitors come packed 12/pallet

21" monitors come packed 12/pallet

   
Containers
   

20-foot ocean container holds 10 pallets of product
40-foot ocean container holds 20 pallets of product

(Containers typically take 1-2 weeks to fill the order)

The Incoterm that reflects the most common method of shipment is called Exworks.
*Exworks is an international shipping term, which designates that the title and risk pass to the buyer including payment of all transportation and insurance costs from the seller's door. ("FOB" is frequently used to mean "exworks" within the USA.)

   
Tracking Number

Once your order has been shipped we typically email you the tracking number for your order so that you can determine its location in transit and approximate delivery time.

Also, with all freight pick ups we will first need a Bill of Lading (BOL) before any orders can be released. This will ensure that the correct order will be release to the proper customer.

We release product for shipment after we have received payment. All orders must be paid in full prior to shipment.
