Before the land plan was executed, the developer and his team pored over books and historical documents depicting the patterns of Tuscan streetscapes and villages. They visited California golf communities, historical east coast courses, and the old world villages nestled along the hillsides of Tuscany. Legend has it that this land once belonged to a European land baron that moved to the region in pursuit of his American fortune. He brought stone and metals and indigenous flowers from his homeland to incorporate in the landscape of his new homeland. Well traveled and worldly, the land baron incorporated the best of both worlds here in this great expanse of land under the vast Texas sky. Mindful of this legend, the developers were careful to leave the perfectly positioned shade trees and remnant architecture, and to incorporate the Tuscan influence through every aspect of the common areas of Cimarron Hills. |
