2012 TASO Volleyball State Meeting – Change of format receives great reviews!
During their off-season board meeting in February 2012, the TASO Volleyball Board committed to working toward consistency throughout the state… Chapter to Chapter, Official to Official. Focus of the board is deeper training and how first ball over is called.
Part of their commitment involved changing the format of the State Meeting in order to provide training that would provide an opportunity for a better understanding of the depth of the game and skills required to administer the game.
Almost 500 officials attended the State Meeting which included an afternoon session at Round Rock High School Gym. The session was centered around demonstrations of volleyball techniques, rules, ball handling, alignment, R1 duties, R2 duties, and much, much more.
