The work of highly-acclaimed Texas-based sculptor Bob Pack has been collected worldwide. His energy level and artistic abilities appear boundless as the life-size and larger bronze monuments he so meticulously sculpts.
His most recent commission of Stephen F. Austin, the Father of Texas, displays the heroic entrepreneur emerging from the waters of the nearby Brazos River. It captures Austin as his horse rears and he pulls a struggling packhorse to shore. Located in the middle of the newly constructed Sugar Land Town Square, this 18-foot by 24-foot masterpiece is strategically positioned in a large granite fountain to depict the river's current and the spirit and courage of early Texans. Only a few of the remaining 30 limited edition bronze remain available to collectors.
