Behind the Podium |
GolfPodiumTM and SportsPodiumTM are owned and managed by Infinity Sports Marketing, a fully integrated, full service sports marketing and management focusing primarily on golf.
Edward Smith, President and owner of Infinity and founder of GolfPodiumTM, is based in Jupiter, Fla. He manages all aspects of the sports marketing company, from management consulting to representation of Professional Golfers. He began his career in the golf industry as an Assistant Golf Professional the Tournament Players Club at Sawgrass, owned and operated by the PGA TOUR. He continued his career with the PGA TOUR through 1994 where he served as the Assistant Director of Player Relations. Smith has also worked as Director of Golf Management with Jack Nicklaus' Golden Bear International. Following Golden Bear International, Smith served as Vice President for International Golf Partners.
Smith is a client-conscious, results-driven entrepreneur known for innovative ideas that rely as much on creative relationship building as on bottom-line marketing practices. Smith has built an eclectic list of clients and his signature is his unrelenting tenacity and a passion to provide exceptional customer service. |
