80%/20% Heel toe weighted
The GAIM GOLF putter was CAD/CAM designed and engineered in order to ensure precise weighting. The face of the putter is 3" wide. If the head were divided into three equal (1 inch) portions, the heel and toe portions would account for 80% of total head weight. This heel-toe weighting generates a very high moment of inertia or a very forgiving "sweet spot" which assists golfers with their directional control.
60% top weighted The top half of the putter houses 60% of its weight. This high center of gravity promotes forward roll for improved distance control.
Face balanced The GAIM putter has specialty designed shafts from True Temper to ensure the club head is faced balanced- the shaft is on plane with the center of gravity. This ensures that, during the transition between back-stroke and through-stroke, there are no dynamic forces attempting to either open or close the face angle of the putter. This helps the putter face remain square through impact.
Soft feel Because GAIM's Tungsten composite material is softer than metal, we can produce a slightly heavier 360 gram head without sacrificing distance control. It is easier for a golfer to maintain momentum with a heavier putter. However, the GAIM putter absorbs some of the energy at impact providing a much softer feel and outstanding distance control.
