| Statement of Faith
United by the Grace of God in Christian Experience, mission, and doctrinal belief, the members of this Church recognize and receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Believing the Holy Bible as the inspired Word of God, the Holy Spirit as the Revealer of His intent, and triune God as the Supreme Lawgiver, the members of this Church agree to accept the Holy Bible as their only rule of faith and practice, to adhere to the doctrines and teachings of God's Holy Word, and to recognize no obligation of religion or of conscience unless contained therein.
The ordinances of this Church, as set forth in the Holy Scriptures, are Baptism and the Lord's Supper.
Steps to Becoming a Christian
Realize that you have sinned against God. "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)
Repent of your sins. "Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out" (Acts 3:19)
Request God to save you through Jesus Christ. "For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." (Romans 10:13)
Receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. "Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God" (John 1:12)
"That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord', and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9) |
