Since 1997, Phillip has been a K-9 Handler for the Georgetown Police Department in Texas. Since that time, he has become the Head Trainer and has assisted in training police dogs around the United States and Canada and has media product all over the U.S., Canada and Europe.
In 1999, Phillip founded Capital Area K-9 Consultants in response to local input about the need for quality pet dog training in the Central Texas area. Since that time, Phillip has trained thousands of dogs for clients all over Texas, the U.S. and Canada and has enjoyed a great reputation as a quality trainer.
Phillip's success in the police K-9 industry has carried over into the pet market of dog training. Having observed the rigid style of police dog training, Phillip has developed his own unique style and method balancing love and discipline to develop the obedient mind of a dog. Our methods of training are fun, insightful, innovative and are tailored for your dog. Every dog does not learn the same as another.
