"Phillip Paris has written a column called A Dog's Life for the Williamson County Sun for several years. It has proven to be so popular that readers have been known to call the paper to ask when the next column is going to run. Phillip writes about training, discipline, behavior and the dog's way of looking at the world - giving pet owners what seem to be practical, easy to follow suggestions. His approach is straightforward, humorous and easygoing, and is geared toward the idea that with better understanding of how a dog thinks, owners can achieve a happier, more effective relationship with their pets."

My husband and I were just talking about you the other day. We were enjoying Lucy and mentioned how good she is and how she comes (every single time) when she is called no matter what she is doing. She is such a joy to our lives now, so much fun to play with, such a good listening girl. We could have never have done this without you. Your training with her made all the difference in the world. I don't think words will ever be able to describe how grateful we are to have found you. It was a long month without her while she trained with you, but it was so worth it.
Thank you Phillip, thank you so much for everything you did.
Much respect and love!
Tom, Jessica and Lucy.
"As owner of Happy Trails Boarding and Grooming, I have recommended Phillip to many of our clients who were having problems with their dogs. I have seen great changes in their behavior as they come back for boarding which really makes them a pleasure to be around!"

"There is a video called "The Obedient Minded Dog" My 13 year old began using this with our 1 yr old dog. I looked into a few different training books and videos and this is the best. I highly reccomend it for any dog owner. You have to be willing to take the time to train- it is not for a very long time each day but you must do it every day. My daughter never had a dog before - she used this video and has been the main trainer and care taker of the dog and we have seen some incredible results. This video has some great techniques and is simple and easy to follow and covers everything from barking, heeling, greeting other people, dog behavior at the open front door, stay, no jump, and many other things. I have just been amazed at what this dog has learned and if a 13 year old can do this (in a matter of days we hve seen results!) anybody can do it.
I got the DVD from the library but I am going to purchase it because it is worth it"
