Congratulations

McCumber Golf would like to congratulate Mark McCumber's son, Tyler McCumber, for winning the 2006 Florida State Golf Association Boys 15 and under Championship. The tournament was held last month at the prestigious Timuquana Country Club in Jacksonville, Florida. Tyler birdied the 18th hole on the final day to win by one shot. Tyler had scores of 71-69-67 (-9). A complete listing of the results can be found here.

We would also like to extend congratulations to Will Sprague, McCumber Golf CFO, for qualifying for the U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship. Will's score of 69 at Deerwood Country Club on August 14 captured one of the four spots available for this Championship. You can follow Will's progress at the U.S. Mid-Amateur held September 9-14 in Flagstaff, Arizona at www.usmidam.org .
