These are 2009 UIL - TASO interpretations applying to 6-man football
The Tackle Box: Same as in eleven man rules. The tackle box is the rectangular area enclosed by the neutral zone, the two lines parallel to the side lines five yards from the snapper, and team A’s end line..
Overtime: We will use the same starting position as in eleven man rules; An extra period shall consist of two possession series with each team putting the ball in play by a snap on or between the inbounds lines on the designated 25 yard line, which becomes the opponent’s 25 yard line. The snap shall be from midway between the inbounds line on the 25 yard lines, unless a different position on or between the inbounds lines is selected before the ready for play signal .After the ready-for-play signal, the ball maybe relocated after a charged team time out, unless preceded by a Team A foul or offsetting penalties.
