Players will learn to hit forehands, backhands and volleys, and participate in fun-filled tennis games geared for this age level.
Our tots program will help develop the physical & mental skills of participants, through activities that encourage teamwork, concentration & discipline.

This clinic is designed to introduce and focus on the fundamentals of playing tennis. Drills, skill work and games will be used to teach all of the areas of the game. Teaching students to be able to compete in match play is a high priority for this program.

This program is designed for advanced junior players. Participants will receive advanced skill work through instruction, drills and competitive games. Players will be encouraged to compete in match play, both in and outside of the clinic.

This is the "big dog" of leagues in Jacksonville. We currently have teams ranging from A to D levels in the Country Club league.
All Country Club League teams play 7 doubles matches per team match. All matches start at 9:30 am. The league season begins in September, breaks for a few weeks during Christmas, resumes play in January and finishes in May.
A2 Team -(NTRP equivalent of 4.0 - 5.0 levels of play.) Matches are played on Tuesday mornings beginning at 9:30 am. Team Practice is held Mondays from 8:30 - 10:00 am. Players typically stay and play after their clinic is over.
B1 Team - (NTRP equivalent of 3.5 - 4.0) Matches are played on Wednesday mornings beginning at 9:30 am. Team practice is held on Mondays from 10:00 -11:00 am. Players tend to come before their clinic to play and some stay after clinic to play.
C2 Team - (NTRP equivalent of 3.0 - 3.5) Matches are played on Thursday mornings beginning at 9:30 am. Team practice is held on Tuesday mornings from 9:00 - 10:30 am. Players will typically stay after their clinic to play.
D Team - (NTRP equivalent of 2.4 - 3.0) Matches are played on Thursday mornings beginning at 9:30 am. Team practice is held on Mondays from 11:00 -12:00 noon. Players will tend to arrive before their clinic to play.
BEACHES LEAGUE
The Beaches League is considered to be a bit less intense than the Country Club league. This league offers play at the A, B, & C levels. The competition at each level is considered to be a bit less strong as compared to the Country Club league.
Each team match will consist of 3 women's doubles matches. All matches are played on Friday mornings beginning at 9:30 am.
We at Marsh Landing consider this to be our "social league" alternative for players who participate in the Country Club league, or would like to compete "without all the fuss" of the Country Club League.
We offer A, B, & C level teams. There are no team practices for beaches league teams.
FIRST COAST LEAGUE
The First Coast League presents a balance between the strength of the Country Club League and the more social atmosphere present in the Country Club League.
We currently field an A level team in this league. Each team match consists of 4 ladies doubles teams. Matches are played on Thursday mornings at 9:30am. Our First Coast team does not have team practices.
LEAGUE TENNIS ADVISORY COMMITTEE (LTAC)
When you get a group of women competing in a very competitive league (such as the Country Club league) things can get quite "spirited."
We have formed a committee made up of all of our Marsh Landing Country Club Team Captains and the Director of Tennis to oversee and govern the players participating on Country Club teams.
Players participating on any Country Club teams are subjected to the rules set forth by this committee. Each season teams are formed based on number of players available and strength of players available. Players wish to join the league will initially be placed on a team by the Director of Tennis.
LTAC does not govern the First Coast or Beaches League. These 2 alternatives serve a niche for those who are not interested in competing at the Country Club League level.
