Gatekeeper Administration & Consulting, LLC is a "true" independent provider of compliance and administrative support with years of experience in both the

403(b)/457(b) markets and in meeting the needs of the members of the educational industry alone. 

We use the word true specifically. Many are offering what they term as "independent" administrative support, but these firms may be an affiliate or subsidiary of one of the investment providers.  Some may have separate ownership but utilize systems provided by investment providers or have their services paid for solely by a single provider on the employer's list.  As auditors and representatives of our clients with the IRS, we feel there would be conflict of interest and potential privacy concerns in relation to data sharing if we were to audit a product we also sold.

The Gatekeeper Team's mission is simple—provide the auditing, administration, and management of our clients' eligible retirement-benefits plans, including 403(b), 457(b), and §125 Cafeteria plans. As an integral part of a district's team, Gatekeeper impartially coordinates all benefit activities with the district's chosen plan vendors, as well as acts as a liaison with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to ensure all plans meet federal compliance requirements.  Gatekeeper's program evolved from performing audits of benefit plans to providing a solution for the day-to-day administration of such plans. Unique to our company is that Gatekeeper not only provides the administration and review services, but also offers representation with the IRS in the event of an audit.

Gatekeeper focuses its efforts on providing services to educational governmental entities that have plans that require a high level of expertise in plan design and operational navigation.  Gatekeeper works directly with its clients to analyze and discuss plan options and conduct future long-term planning both for its districts and their employees.
